Glass - he wholly owned subsidiary by Dubai Investments - PJSC has announced the launch of the latest technology in glass solutions - SmartLite. The state-of-the-art switchable glass changes the position of the flick of a switch in about 400 milliseconds and switches from a clear to opaque glass panel to create privacy as needed, while also allowing plenty of natural light whenever needed.

SmartLites hybrid design helps create large open-style spaces by providing a clear vision of the element when switching on, while its majestic, milky-white finish blends seamlessly into the contemporary interior architecture when switched off. SmartLite glass panels can be cut into different shapes and designs, and special colors are available upon request. Glass is suitable for the temperature range from -30 C to 80 C, preventing UV rays.

The SmartLite includes two operational stages, "On" and "Off", in the on state SmartLite Glass Panel fully visible, Whereas it appears to be translucent in the "off" position, allowing a decent amount of light to pass through, but effectively preventing it from looking.
