Sony Showcases Advanced Creator and Media Solutions at Bridge Summit 2025
Sony Middle East and Africa unveiled a comprehensive portfolio of creator and media solutions at Bridge Summit 2025, reinforcing its commitment to supporting the evolving needs of the global content creation community.
Held in December at ADNEC in Abu Dhabi, Bridge Summit 2025 is recognised as the world’s largest event dedicated to media and creators, bringing together filmmakers, broadcasters, photographers, digital creators, and media professionals from around the world.
At the Summit, Sony presented its end-to-end ecosystem designed to support content creation from capture through to final delivery. Visitors explored a wide range of solutions, including CLED displays, curated broadcast and production technologies, and live podcast sessions, all reflecting Sony’s deep understanding of cinematic workflows and professional production requirements.
Across the three-day event, Sony hosted an extensive programme of workshops aimed at creators at all stages of their careers. Sessions covered diverse creative disciplines such as high-speed sports photography, travel storytelling, wedding and landscape cinematography, commercial video production, portrait photography, and foundational content creation skills. The programme also addressed the business and monetisation aspects of creative careers.
The workshops were led by a distinguished group of industry experts, including Amir De Leon, Nic Bothma, Gideon Nieuwenhuizen, Jacq, Remon, Tim, and Fatima AlMattar. Each speaker shared practical insights, live demonstrations, and personal creative approaches that resonated strongly with attendees.
In addition to the educational sessions, Sony offered an interactive experience zone featuring live podcast recordings, game-streaming demonstrations, and hands-on product trials, allowing visitors to test Sony’s latest technologies in real-world production scenarios. Registered Alpha Universe members were also entered into an exclusive prize draw to win a Sony camera, further enhancing engagement at the booth.
A key highlight of the Summit was the regional debut of the Alpha 7M5, unveiled in parallel with its global announcement. Attendees were among the first worldwide to experience the camera’s advanced imaging capabilities, improved performance, and creator-focused features, making it a major attraction throughout the event.
Commenting on Sony’s participation, Jobin Joejoe, Managing Director of Sony Middle East and Africa, said the Summit provided an important platform to engage directly with creators and media professionals. He noted that the event reinforced Sony’s commitment to delivering technologies that support creative workflows and enable the production of high-quality content across industries.
