Smart Dubai has won the prominent Microsoft Dynamics Digital Transformation Award 2017 for the Government Field category in a honors event the tech and software giant recently kept in Dubai.

The prize targets chosen customers of Microsoft, with the Sector category focusing on public-sector entities that welcome innovation in their advancement and operations. Furthermore, it was the very first time that Microsoft Gulf hosted the award ceremony.

The coveted award reaffirms Dubai's leading position and highlights the wonderful success made by Smart Dubai and its affiliate organisations, stated Her Excellency Dr Aisha Bint Butti Bin Bishr, Director General of the Smart Dubai Office (SDO), adding that Smart Dubai is driving the emirate's smart transformation in order to attain its supreme goal of making Dubai the happiest and most intelligent city worldwide, according to the regulations of the wise management and the goals of the UAE Centennial 2071 Strategy.

The Microsoft Dynamics Digital Transformation Award sheds light on digital transformation plans and projects, and their essential function in the development and development of neighborhoods.
