The signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Fujairah Culture and Media Authority and Al Jalila Cultural Centre for Children

A step that reflects the interest of Al Jalila Cultural Centre for Children; to open up to all UAE institutions to cherish and support the concept of educating a child in the community. Al Jalila Cultural Centre for Children was honoured by the visit of His Highness Dr. Rashid Bin Hamad Al Sharqi; Chairman of the Fujairah Culture and Media, accompanied by a number of high profile and media personalities.

Dr. Mona Al Bahar; CEO of Al Jalila Cultural Centre for Children welcomed the visit of His Highness Dr. Rashid Bin Hamad Alsharqi to the Centre; emphasising the interest of Al Jalila Cultural Centre for Children to cooperate with all parties involved with culture inside and outside the country, to exchange experiences and open new horizons in favour of the centres mission which ensures a social environment that consists of education and culture that is safe for the children and their families.

Also, to implant national values in the minds of the youth through innovative means, and here comes the role of cooperation with the skilled authorities to take advantage of their expertise and services, in addition to combined activities.

Dr. Mona said the visit of His Highness Dr. Rashid Bin Hamad Alsharqi marked the launch of a promising era of cooperation between Al Jalila Cultural Centre for Children and Fujairah Culture and Media; which is considered to have a distinct experience in cultural work and the organisation of international festivals, as well as its achievements in the field of media and art.

The visit of His Highness Dr. Rashid Bin Hamad Alsharqi included a tour of the centre. From the Basic Life Skills department, to the Multimedia department as well as Fine & Applied Arts, the tour also included some cultural activities and performances by the children of the center.

During the visit; an MOU was signed between Fujairah Culture and Media, and Al Jalila Cultural Centre for Children; with the presence of the Board of Trustees of the centre; Dr. Salah Al Qasssim, Mona Lootah, and Dr. Mona Al Bahar; member of the Board of Trustee and CEO of the centre. In addition to the General Manager of Fujairah Culture & Media Authority Eng. Mohamed Saif Al Afkham and Yehia Al Qaisi, Head of Culture Affairs Department.
