SANS Institute, the international leader in cyber security training, declared SANS Dubai February 2020, which will be held from February 15-20, 2020 at the Hilton Dubai Jumeirah Beach. Via hands-on, immersion-style training, international cyber security professionals will train and enable participants with skills to protect their organisation against security breaches and protect future attacks.

The fast pace at which cybersecurity attacks are emerging and increasing is making it even harder for organisations to prevent and defend against them. They need to have an effective approach in place to detect, thwart, and monitor internal and external threats to prevent security breaches, stated Ned Baltagi, Managing Director, Middle East & Africa at SANS Institute. In accordance to reports, the cybersecurity skills gap is widening with a shortfall of 1.8m cybersecurity workers internationally by 2022 and the situation in the Middle East is no better. Through our courses, we hope to address the regions skills gap by training and enabling more professionals to safeguard their organisations against future security breaches and attacks.

At SANS Dubai February 2020, cyber security professionals, Brandon McCrillis and Greg Porter will conduct the two courses - the SEC566: Implementing and Auditing the Critical Security Controls - In-Depth and the SEC660: Advanced Penetration Testing, Exploit Writing, and Ethical Hacking respectively.
