RIPE NCC & Kuwait Telecommunications Regulatory Authority Organize Training Program

The RIPE Network Coordination Centre (NCC) and the Kuwait Communication Information telecommunications and Internet service providers (ISPs) recently held a training program for telecoms and Access provider (ISPs) to enlighten them on ways to deal with Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) and release it on their networks. The training, kept in Kuwait, develops part of a CITRA effort targeted at urging the advancement of a roadmap for the deployment of IPv6 in Kuwait.

Network operators currently find themselves running very short on extra IP addresses, thanks to a quick growth in the number of devices attached to the Internet.
