Her Excellency Dr. Aisha Bent Butti Bin Bishr, Director General of the Smart Dubai Office, praised Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, President of the General Women's Union, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development and Chairwoman of Being a mother and Childhood years Supreme Council in UAE Women's Day on the occasion of the UAE Female's Day.

She stated: "The Emirati leadership is noting the UAE Female's Day not as a traditional honour but as a real platform to celebrate the achievements of Emiratis women, who enjoy the highest and vital positions in the nation and are active companions in the UAE's journey to be the most effective nation by 2071.

She said: "I am happy to be among those entrusted with unique tasks in one of our crucial projects - the job of constructing the smart city - which calls for great effectiveness and expertise. Today, our leaders - His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE; His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Leader of the UAE Army, go to the center in honoring women and commemorating their accomplishments in every facet of the UAE's journey. This has been a constant procedure given that the birth of the union and a translation of the vision of the founding father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan (May Allah Have Mercy Upon Him).

She added: "Emirati Women's Day is a restored possibility to test ourselves as people to be role models in developing the future of the UAE. I congratulate all my colleagues in the Smart Dubai Group that assisted build exactly what we have attained up until now on the Smart Dubai Journey. At the same time, I see that Emirati Women's Day as a day to renew our promise, as residents of this terrific nation, to be always the top."
