As part of the Fourth Annual Forum for Promoting Peace in Muslim Societies United Nations Announce Cooperation with the Forum to Promote Religious Education

Undersecretary-General Adama Dieng, United Nations Special Adviser on the Prevention of Genocide, announced a joint cooperation agreement between the United Nations and the Forum for Supporting Tranquility in Muslim Societies to arrange 10 study workshops to promote religious education in the Islamic world.

Dieng said the arrangement was achieved complying with a set of previous meetings with His Excellency Shaykh Abdallah bin Bayyah, President of the Forum for Encouraging Peace in Muslim Cultures. Both celebrations discussed a potential collaboration in between them to advertise religious education through comprehensive scholastic programs, and agreed to organize ten study workshops the information which will be announced later.

Dieng explained that the United Nations very values the efforts applied by the Forum for Encouraging Tranquility in Muslim Societies to advertise resistance and conjunction among individuals, which include scientific and knowledge-based activities regular with contemporary altruistic requirements and moral and spiritual requirements. He added that United Nations Secretary-General Antnio Guterres is carefully following the efforts exerted by His Excellency Shaykh Abdallah Bin Bayyah, President of the Forum, which include the promotion of tolerance, tranquility and pleased coexistence in the world.

Undersecretary-General Adama Dieng is participating in the 4th yearly Forum for advertising Peace in Muslim Cultures, which was inaugurated yesterday in Abu Dhabi. The event, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, was gone to by His Highness Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance, alongside an elite of academics, pundits and scholars from all over the world.

The yearly Forum for Promoting Tranquility in Muslim Societies in its fourth version, takes on the theme "Global Tranquility and Concern of Islam-- Responding To the Spread of Extremism".
