Parkin Company PJSC, Dubai’s leading provider of paid public parking solutions, has announced the introduction of new public parking zones in the Mirdif area, effective today. The expansion is part of Parkin’s ongoing efforts to enhance accessibility, optimize traffic flow, and meet rising parking demands in high-density areas across the city.

The new zones — Zone 251C (on-street) and Zone 251D (off-street) — are located in key commercial and busy areas within Mirdif. These locations were selected following traffic and usage assessments indicating a consistent need for regulated parking throughout the day.

Tariff Structure and Timing

Parkin will implement a Variable Pricing Tariff Policy for these zones, with differentiated charges based on peak and off-peak hours. Parking will be chargeable Monday to Saturday from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM, while Sundays and public holidays remain free.

Peak Hours:

• Morning: 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM

• Evening: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Off-Peak Hours:

• 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

• 8:00 PM – 10:00 PM

The 24-hour flat rate is exclusively available in Zone 251D (off-street).

Smart Parking for a Smart City

This expansion is aligned with Parkin’s long-term urban mobility strategy to implement demand-responsive pricing. By encouraging vehicle turnover and preventing long-term occupation of key parking spots, Parkin aims to ensure a more efficient and accessible parking experience across the Emirate.

To ensure user convenience, all zones will feature updated signage displaying tariffs and operational hours. In addition, full information about the new Mirdif parking zones is accessible via the Parkin mobile app, official website, and social media channels.
