Moro Hub’s 4th Annual Digital Transformation Summit 2025 showcases AI-driven sustainable innovation and the future of intelligent enterprises

Moro Hub, a subsidiary of Digital DEWA, the digital arm of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (PJSC), successfully concluded its 4th Annual Digital Transformation Summit 2025 under the theme “AI-Driven Sustainable Innovation” at the Mandarin Oriental Jumeira. The event placed artificial intelligence at the heart of discussions, highlighting its transformative role in shaping the UAE’s digital economy and intelligent enterprises of the future.

Organized in collaboration with the International Data Corporation (IDC), the summit gathered over 300 senior executives, CIOs, and government decision-makers from across the UAE and the wider Middle East. Attendees included key representatives from leading public and private institutions.

In his opening address, Mohammad Bin Sulaiman, CEO of Moro Hub, emphasized the growing significance of AI as a national growth driver.

“AI is no longer just a tool—it is a strategic driver of national competitiveness and sustainability. Through the Digital Transformation Summit, Moro Hub is strengthening dialogue around responsible innovation and building ecosystems that will shape the UAE’s digital economy for decades to come,” he said.

The summit also witnessed three major announcements from Moro Hub: the launch of GPU-as-a-Service and Inferencing-as-a-Service offerings, the unveiling of the Moro Hub Smart Office, and the introduction of the IPSP AI Video Analytics Platform—all aimed at accelerating AI-powered transformation across industries.

According to IDC, spending on digital transformation across the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa (META) region is expected to exceed USD 59 billion in 2025, with AI investment growing by more than 30% year-on-year. The UAE alone is projected to generate nearly 14% of its GDP—equivalent to USD 96 billion—through AI-driven activities by 2030, reaffirming its role as the region’s leading AI economy.

The summit explored the rise of Agentic AI, an emerging phase where artificial intelligence evolves from a supportive tool to an autonomous collaborator, transforming operations, cybersecurity, and sustainability frameworks across sectors.

Key highlights from the summit

  • Ranjit Rajan, Vice President and Head of Research (META) at IDC, opened the event with a keynote titled “CIO Playbook for the Agentic AI Era.” He discussed how technology leaders must ensure AI adoption aligns with innovation, governance, and national security goals.

A high-level panel titled “From Concept to ROI — Unlocking the Potential of AI” brought together speakers from Digital Dubai Authority (DDA), Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), and Dubai Police, addressing topics such as data ethics, AI governance, and generative AI adoption.

In closing, Aisha Al Nuaimi, Key Account Manager at Moro Hub, emphasized the summit’s role in fostering partnerships and driving the region’s transition toward sustainable digital economies.

This year’s event was supported by an impressive lineup of global technology partners, including Platinum Partners Dell Technologies, Red Hat, and SER Group; Gold Partners Cisco, Mindware & NVIDIA, and Gama; and Silver Partners Johnson Controls and Ingram Micro.

Concluding the summit, Bin Sulaiman stated,

“The 2025 edition reinforces Moro Hub’s commitment to advancing AI, clean data centers, sovereign cloud, and cybersecurity excellence as we build a resilient and inclusive digital economy.”
