Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub signs agreement with Atherion Aerospace to establish manufacturing facility at Dubai South
The Mohammed bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH), Dubai’s dedicated aerospace platform focused on advancing the aviation ecosystem, has signed an agreement with Atherion Aerospace, a subsidiary of Economic Group Holdings (EGH), to establish a new aerospace manufacturing facility at Dubai South.
The agreement was formalised during Dubai Airshow 2025 and signed by Tahnoon Saif, CEO of MBRAH, and Sheikh Sultan Majid Hamad Binsaqar Alqasimi, Managing Director at Economic Group Holdings.
Under the partnership, Atherion Aerospace will develop advanced aerospace manufacturing services from its base at MBRAH. The facility will support the UAE’s growing demand for specialised aviation production and reinforce Dubai’s long-term ambition of becoming a global leader in the aviation sector.
Tahnoon Saif said the collaboration underscores MBRAH’s commitment to strengthening Dubai’s integrated aerospace ecosystem. He stated that attracting key global industry players remains a priority as Dubai South continues to expand its world-class aviation infrastructure.
Rawoof Ali, Executive Director of Economic Group Holdings, highlighted that Atherion Aerospace represents EGH’s strategic entry into aerospace manufacturing. He noted that the partnership aligns with the UAE’s broader goals for industrial innovation and sustainable economic diversification.
