ALSA Food Restaurants & Management LLC, based in the UAE and part of the Al Sayegh Group one of the leading and diversified conglomerates in the country, has announced the opening of the first Mikado Bakery in Dubai, thus unveiling the signature Japanese bake concept and excellence in the Emirate.

ALSA currently operates one Mikado Caf in Abu Dhabi, which opened its doors in Khalidiya in the capital early this year. Mikado Bakery, which is open at Al Wasl BOXPARK, offers a wide array of authentic Japanese breads and pastries, infused with sumptuous flavours and delicacies to satiate the taste buds.

ALSAs Mikado Bakery is truly Japanese bakery excellence on the platter from Japanese Tofu Salads to Shokupan sandwiches to Croissants and over 15 types of Japanese breads as part of its wide menu.

Mikado Bakery ensures nothing but an unforgettable bakery experience the wide spread of delicacies on offer speak volumes. Every baked item at Mikado Bakery draws on centuries of Japanese traditional baking that has been carried through legacy over many centuries, said Mr. Abdul Jabbar Al Sayegh, Chairman of Al Sayegh Group.

With the multicultural population in Dubai, which includes lovers of traditional Japanese cuisine, we thought it was a great synergy to bring a world-class Japanese bakery to the Emirate. We plan to open more outlets in the months to come, Mr. Al Sayegh added.

Right from breakfast, which has the Danish and Croissants to toast, the Bakery also offers a traditional treat of Shokupan loaf bread and Komeko Balls fresh from the oven, apart from sweet delights such as Choco Korune, Matcha Mellon Pan and Ann Pann, among others.

Other assortment of Japanese bakery products such as Custard Cream Bread, Green Tea Croissant, Biscuit Bread and much more are on the palette. The outlet has on board traditional Japanese bakery chef Yoshio Nishiyama, who has brought in the magic of Yakitate (freshly baked) Japanese breads to the UAE.
