Media Veteran Yousef Tsouri Appointed By Sky News Arabia as Head of News

Sky News Arabia (SNA) has appointed Youssef Tsouri as Head of News effective March 1st, 2020. Tsouri will be responsible for overseeing the SNA newsroom editorial strategy and content, improve the operations and output of its international bureaus and make contributions closer to growing SNAs digital reach.

Tsouri brings over 23 years of experience to his role, gained throughout a number of reputable global media institutions in the UAE and overseas which includes MBC where he joined in 2002 as a news presenter and later occupied the position of Editor in Chief. He joins SNA from the French capital Paris, where he spent the past 10 years working for France 24.

Nart Bouran, CEO of International Media Investment (IMI Holding), the holding company which owns a 50 stake in SNA, said, We are delighted to welcome Yousef to our developing Sky News Arabia family. I am assured that his widespread international knowledge gained in the Middle East and Europe will absolutely add value to the network and give a fresh viewpoint to the crew that will in addition drive SNA forward.

Bouran added, Yousef will assist lead the next stage of SNAs development into a digital first news organization that caters to an ever-growing quantity of viewers from all over the world.

Tsouri holds a graduate diploma from the Higher Institute of Journalism in Rabat, and a bachelors degree in political science from Mohammed V University in Rabat.
