Lufthansas Business Class and Senator Lounges open at Concourse D, Dubai International Airport

Lufthansa travelers will now delight in a more relaxing and comfortable remain at the airport as the airline opens today its larger and better Business Class and Senator lounges at the brand-new Concourse D, Departure Area, Terminal 1 of the Dubai International Airport, providing visitors more space to feel at home.

The overall 500 sqm facility is now available for Lufthansa, SWISS and Star Alliance passengers with Business Class tickets and Frequent Travellers cardholders (Business lounge), as well as guests with Miles & More leaflet program HON circle status, Senator and Star Gold cardholder, and First Class tickets (Senator lounge) so they can rest, dine, relax or freshen up in an unique convenience before boarding their flights.

On the official opening, Karsten Zang, Lufthansa's Regional Director Gulf, I.R. Iran, Afghanistan & Pakistan, said: "We are extremely thrilled to inaugurate our Business Class and Senator Lounge here at Concourse D. Finally, we have the ability to supply a larger and more spacious convenience zone for guests with our signature quality on-ground services. In 2015, we invited around 40,000 visitors at our Senator Lounge in Concourse C. Now, with our new premium facility that has simply been doubled in size, we anticipate to receive about 75,000 guests, 35,000 of whom would be first-time visitors to our Business Class lounge. We are proud of the multi-million Euro investments we made to build this new lounge understanding that our travelers will have the comfort they deserve while awaiting their air travels.".

Guests who want to freshen up will find showers and bathrooms in the lounge and the substantial choice of food and beverages at the restaurant will fortify them with fresh specials every time. For guests who want to catch up on reading or work, the comfortable sitting areas are furnished with stylish leather armchairs and the contemporary work stations have free Wi-Fi access. Guests can also sit back and relax in the cosy recliner chairs.

"The brand-new Business Class and Senator Lounges highlight our premium method - the design and the services supplied are reflective of the highest standards of quality and of Lufthansa's constant dedication to exceptional customer service. It is fairly apt that our modern-day lounge would also be located at the opulent Concourse D of the Dubai International Airport," stated Dr. Bjrn Becker, Director Product Management Airport & Passenger Services.

From March 2, all Lufthansa travelers will be utilizing Concourse D which is quickly available to leaving passengers via the airport's Skytrain from the check-in location in Terminal 1.
