Lexus ES 300h being recognized as ‘Best Midsize Luxury Sedan’ at the prestigious Middle East Car of the Year Awards 2019
The class-leading hybrid electric vehicle was honored at the prestigious annual award ceremony by a judging panel comprising 19 independent senior editors

Lexus ES 300h was crowned as the ‘Best Midsize Luxury Sedan’ at Middle East Car of the Year Awards (MECOTY) 2019 which took place in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The car’s exceptional interiors with luxurious comfort and unbeatable performance was endorsed recently when Lexus ES 300h was selected for the award by a judging panel comprising 19 independent senior editors from the Middle East and North Africa’s leading automotive publications. 

Each of the nominees were assessed across many factors with a set of ten essential criteria including design and quality (exterior and interior); emotional appeal and driver satisfaction; handling and drivability; safety and durability; value for money (new purchase and resale); comfort and practicality; performance and capability; environmental friendliness; technological innovation and regional appeal.

This 2019 ES 300h is an electrified hybrid model which can be driven completely by electrical power with zero-fuel consumption and carbon emissions or through a combination of a petrol engine and two electric motors. Moreover, the driver doesn’t need to plug in the power cord as the batteries in the hybrid electric drivetrain are automatically charged by either the petrol engine or when braking and decelerating. The exceptional model enables customers to contribute to a sustainable future while enjoying the increased driving satisfaction provided by the ES 300h’s advanced technologies. 

The all-new Lexus ES is completed by its exquisite interiors that offer a host of features giving a refined cabin experience to drivers as well as passengers.
