Khalifa Fund Signs Strategic Agreement to Fuel Entrepreneurial Culture Among Emirati Talent

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance, Honorary Chairman of the University Leadership Consortium and BUNYAN Campaign for the Capacity-Building of the Young People, the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Growth successfully signed a critical contract with the University Management Consortium (ULC), a capacity-building and entrepreneurship hub, today at the Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Royal Residence in Abu Dhabi.

The agreement is aimed on reinforcing efforts by both parties in the locations of scholastic education, capability advancement and personnels in the UAE - consisting of the initiatives to create the abilities and capabilities of young skill. The alliance looks in the direction of the advancement of local enterprises by instilling and improving a society of entrepreneurship and innovation among young UAE nationals, in accordance with the calculated vision of promoting and sustaining entrepreneurship in the country.

The agreement was signed by H.E Abdullah Saeed Al Darmaki, CEO of Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development and Dr. Nada Mourtada-Sabbah, Secretary-General of the University Leadership Consortium (ULC), in the presence of several officials from both sides.

The alliance aims to develop joint collaborative initiatives in going after the UAE's vision and approach in the development and assistance of human resources, advertising the culture of entrepreneurship and driving innovation amongst future entrepreneurs to optimum levels.

H.E Abdullah Al Darmaki worried on the progression of the Fund in its journey in the direction of boosting the spirit of management and effort amongst Emiratis. He commended the importance of this arrangement in reinforcing teamwork between schools for the interest of Emirati youth and adding to enhancing entrepreneurship and SMEs, which leaves a favorable influence across all financial, social and cultural levels.

" Our strategic agreement with the University Management Consortium is part of our efforts to sustain personnels and create a proper business setting for the growth of SMEs, and to encourage entrepreneurship among the youth, consisting of university students, through programs, efforts and activities under the Joint Convention," he added.

Dr. Nada Sabbah said, "We are happy to have signed this calculated arrangement with the Khalifa Fund, which is the key focus of our initiatives to encourage young and enthusiastic individuals. The partnership symbolizes the mutual trust fund in between both celebrations to give a platform on which to equip ambitious Emirati young people and transform their theoretical suggestions right into concrete useful efforts that effectively add to improving the tactical vision of the UAE government."

The two sides underscored the significance of creating and enhancing young skill and preparing them to be successful entrepreneurs and major contributors to the social and financial growth of the UAE by exchanging common experiences and creating a culture of entrepreneurship, developing the essential abilities and cultivating a spirit of innovation.
