Dubai,May 4,2014:Dubais first mega themed entertainment destination,IMG Worlds of Adventure (IMGWOA), is set to mark the opening of a new chapter in the UAEs leisure industry.Media and trade representatives, as well as visitors,will be treated to a sneak peek of the highly anticipated projectat Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2014.ATM attendees can look forward to receiving key updates on construction and development.

Marking a keymilestone, constructionof the IMGWOA massive space frame is now complete with work on the roof and wall cladding in progress.Further,the off-site manufacturing of ridesis also well underway and shipments have started to arrive on-site, highlightinga major stage in the development of the project.

Once open,the 1.5 million sq. ft. project developed by the Ilyas & Mustafa Galadari (IMG) Group will bethe worldslargest temperature controlled indoor themed entertainment destination with a capacity to welcome in excess of 20,000 visitors a day.

We expect the brand cachet of IMGWOA to cement Dubais position as the complete one-stop destination for entertainment and leisure.

The rides and attractions at IMGWOAs four themed zones will present imagination-gripping tales woven around a host of international brands and characters such as Cartoon Network favorites,LazyTown, Ben 10, Adventure Time, Power Puff Girls and The Amazing World of Gumball,and iconic MARVEL Super Hero favorites,which includeSpider-Man, Thor, Hulk, Captain America and Iron Man.In addition, IMGWOA will feature a host of hair-raising rides and thrilling experiences that see the prehistoric age roar back to life at the largest zone Lost Valley-Dinosaur Adventure. The fourth zone, IMG Boulevard, will serve as the welcome zone and set the stage for the excitement to follow in the three other themed zones.

We have worked with the best ride designers in the business and many of the rides will be world-firsts in terms of the technology involved and ride experience, with a multitude ofstate-of-the-art attractions constituting a big part in bringing the epic adventure alive for visitors, added a spokesperson at the Ilyas &Mustafa Galadari (IMG) Group.

All of the rides are being built in compliance with European safety standard EN13814, which governs thedesign, fabrication, installation, operation and maintenance of fairgrounds, amusement park machinery, structures and safety, in addition to the training of the operators and the maintenance staff. IMGWOA has signedwithTV SDGermany, to be the independent inspection body which conducts audits to ensure that all of the rides comply with safety standards.

Visitors can expect to enjoy a vast array of adrenaline-pumping roller coasters, thrillrides and attractions, a12-screen cinema complex, interactive entertainment and adventures forguests of all agesincludingMICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Exhibitions)attendees.

Moreover, the entertainment destination will be home to an exceptional selection of dining outlets all of which will be original themed concepts that offer a spread of fine, casual and healthy dining choices alongside a number of retail stores selling branded merchandise including the largest Ben10 store in the world.

ATM takes place from May 5thuntil May 8th, 2014 at Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
