Huawei to Demonstrate Cybersecurity Leadership at GISEC Global 2024

Huawei, a prominent global provider of information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure and smart devices, is gearing up to participate in the upcoming GISEC Global 2024. Under the theme "Towards a Trusted, Resilient and Fully Connected Intelligent World," Huawei will showcase its dedication to supporting organizations and businesses in their digital transformation journey while enhancing their cybersecurity and privacy protection capabilities, essential for success in the evolving digital landscape.

In a rapidly evolving technological landscape where AI, networks, and cloud technologies are reshaping business paradigms, cybersecurity and privacy protection have emerged as crucial elements for business success. Recognizing this, Huawei, as the Lead Strategic Partner for GISEC Global 2024, will leverage its participation to present a suite of advanced solutions aimed at addressing the security challenges faced by its customers.

At the event, visitors to Huawei's booth will have the opportunity to explore the company's latest offerings, including cybersecurity solutions, data protection capabilities, cloud security solutions, and extensive industry and customer partnerships.

Dr. Aloysius Cheang, Chief Security Officer, Huawei Middle East & Central Asia, expressed, "Through our participation in GISEC Global 2024, we aim to enhance collaboration with our partners and customers, fostering a secure ecosystem, sharing insights, and safeguarding security and privacy in the new digital frontier."

Huawei will showcase its cutting-edge HiSec SASE solution for multi-branch enterprises, providing comprehensive protection at various levels, including cloud, network, edge, and endpoint. Additionally, the HiSec Endpoint EDR will be highlighted for its efficient threat detection, one-click recovery, and lightweight deployment capabilities.

Emphasizing data protection, Huawei will introduce its OceanProtect Backup Storage, offering significantly improved backup and recovery performance. Furthermore, Huawei will unveil its cloud-native security system, underpinned by AI and a collaborative approach between a security operations center (SOC) and seven layers of protection, ensuring service resilience, data security, and regulatory compliance. The launch of Huawei Cloud SecMaster SOC will also be a highlight at GISEC.

Huawei underscores the importance of open and transparent alliances in the cybersecurity ecosystem, actively collaborating with partners on security standards and frameworks to ensure a comprehensive approach to cybersecurity across industries. The company will host strategic industry forums at GISEC, including the Huawei Cloud Security Forum and the Huawei Cybersecurity Forum, to discuss emerging trends and share best practices in cloud security and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) implementation.

Additionally, Huawei will support the Cybersecurity Enablement Bootcamp, providing regulators in the Middle East and Central Asia region with insights into global cybersecurity legislation, governance practices, and industry standards. Moreover, Huawei is backing the Organisation of The Islamic Cooperation – Computer Emergency Response Teams (OIC-CERT) in hosting an expert working group workshop during GISEC.

GISEC Global 2024, scheduled from April 23-25, 2024, at the Dubai World Trade Centre, stands as the premier cybersecurity exhibition and conference in the Middle East and Africa region. Explore Huawei's offerings at GISEC Global 2024, located in Hall 6, Booth A75, at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
