Galadari Trucks Second Komatsu Excavator Contest Sees Competition at Full Throttle

The big boys and their bigger toys were back at work in Abu Dhabi recently, battling in their earthmovers to outmanoeuvre each other and win the sought after Komatsu Excavator Operator Competition 2017. The competition was organised by Komatsu's unique UAE supplier Galadari Trucks and Heavy Devices Co. (GTHE), a flagship company of the Galadari Brothers Group.

Thirty of the country's top excavator drivers from as many companies throughout the UAE climbed to the difficulty and put on quite a program at the 2nd yearly Komatsu Excavator Operator Contest, leaving the audience mesmerized with their actions and countermoves in a very closely combated competition.

The innovative competition saw the drivers thinking on their feet while vying to be the nimblest in regulating an oscillating ball and being the initial to place it inside a tube. "The fine work control and precision of Komatsu machines made it possible for the operators to control the oscillating ball and placed it inside a tube," Hasish included.
