ENOC Group won Roads and Transport Authority's (RTA) Dubai Award for Sustainable Transport (DAST) 2018 under the Environmental Classification, in acknowledgment for its different lasting initiatives.

The award presented by H.H Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation

The Awards were established to encourage contribution towards the improvement of the renovation of lasting transportation in the UAE. Throughout its retail network of 117 terminals in the UAE, the Group has deployed a host of innovative campaigns that contribute to improving power performance such as the introduction of PhotoVoltaic (PV) solar-powered stations and Vapour Recuperation System (Virtual Reality) - a process that nearly eliminates the gas vapour or various other gas emissions in petroleum stations by transforming the fumes back to fuel, adding to enhanced public health. The PV photovoltaic panels on the roofing of the canopy could produce of 120 kWh (Kilowatt per hour) power on a perfect day, generating approximately 30 percent more than the average energy needed to run the terminal. The excess power generated is sent back to DEWA's primary grid through a DEWA solar metre that tracks the power infused to the power grid.

Furthermore, ENOC has introduced the installation of Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) innovation for A/C systems which contribute towards 35 per cent decreased electricity usage. Double-walled gas storage tanks & pipes with leak discovery to prevent setting contamination and progressed dispenser systems created to provide high flow to cars and trucks. As much as 50 percent electrical energy is preserved with movement Sensing unit LED Illumination. ENOC terminals also provides electrical Vehicle Chargers and use recycled water for car washes. Variety of sophisticated repayment methods from cash money, card, mobile payment to ViP RFID modern technology, and pin-less repayments.
