ENOC achieves record sales during DSF 2014; presents AED 3.5 million and 100 cars in prizes

Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) achieved record sales during this edition of the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF 2014), a flagship initiative by the Dubai Festivals & Retail Establishment (DFRE), which aims to further underline Dubai’s status as a global family leisure and tourism destination.

A Strategic Partner of the key events organised in Dubai that catalyse the city’s tourism, hospitality, and retail sectors, ENOC presented 100 cars and AED 3.5 million in prize money during the month-long shopping and entertainment extravaganza this year. All the promotional campaigns organised by ENOC to celebrate DSF 2014 also recorded sell-out response, underlining the increased retail activity.

Burhan Al Hashemi, Managing Director, ENOC Retail said: “ENOC has been one of the founding partners of DSF, which has established Dubai as a definitive tourism hub, attracting visitors from around the world. Right from the start, one of the core focuses of ENOC was to conduct innovative campaigns that ensure a positive difference to the lives of our valued customers, and to this day, we lead the market in providing the maximum chances to win major prizes during DSF. The strong sales response to our DSF campaigns is a powerful demonstration of the robust performance of Dubai’s economy.”

This DSF, ENOC offered customers the exclusive opportunity to win a Nissan car daily through the Nissan Grand Draw. ENOC also partnered with DFRE in the Infiniti Mega Raffle offering two Infiniti cars and AED 100,000 in cash prize daily. To take part in the Nissan Grand Draw, customers only had to spend AED 20 on non-fuel products at ZOOM stores or at Pronto; AED 30 on car wash services; AED 100 on oil change or any AutoPro service; and AED 30 at Saquella café. For the DSF Mega Raffle, all of the 5,000 tickets offered daily and priced at AED 200 each, sold out every day.

Al Hashemi added: “The various DSF promotional packages that ENOC introduced through our retail outlets exceeded their sales targets. The daily Nissan Grand Draw was extremely well-received with the sale of our promo packs with three free raffle tickets recording a growth of 12 per cent compared to 2013. The success of ENOC Retail’s DSF campaign underlines the strong team work of our organisation and our commitment to support Dubai’s growth.”

ENOC honoured its Retail team members for their dedication in promoting DSF sales. Taleb Al Saleh, Director – Retail Operations and Marketing, and other senior managers presented appreciation certificates and gifts to the best-performing employees.
