Emirati Women honored as Pillars of Progress on Emirati Women’s Day
H.E. Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori, Director General of Digital Dubai, emphasized the pivotal role of Emirati women in shaping the UAE’s future, highlighting their contributions to national progress and global recognition. His remarks came in celebration of Emirati Women’s Day, which this year is observed under the theme “Hand In Hand, We Celebrate 50 Years.”
He noted that Emirati women have consistently demonstrated competence in taking on key responsibilities and have emerged as a global model of excellence and leadership. Their achievements, he said, have strengthened the UAE’s position worldwide and continue to inspire future generations.
Al Mansoori stressed that Emirati women’s success is deeply supported by the vision of the UAE’s leadership and the patronage of H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, ‘Mother of the Nation’, Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation.
This year’s theme also aligns with the declaration of 2025 as the “Year of the Community” by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, further underscoring women’s indispensable role as partners in the country’s journey of progress and sustainable development.
Al Mansoori highlighted that the UAE’s digital transformation showcases women’s ability to embrace advanced technologies, lead change, and shape the future. At Digital Dubai, women play a central role through their dedication, loyalty, and strong commitment to its humanitarian and civilizational mission.
He concluded by saying that this year’s celebration embodies the UAE’s unique model of women empowerment, reinforcing the belief that investing in women’s potential continues to drive the nation’s prosperity and long-term growth.
