Emirati Talent Supported By ENOC Group and SAP Through the SAP Young Professional Programme

ENOC Group currently partnered with international technology company SAP on its Young Professional Programme. The SAP Training and Development Institutes Young Professional Programme is a 3-month-long programme, via which 25 unemployed or underemployed university graduates acquire digital and soft skills and turn out to be certified SAP Associate Consultants on SAPs modern-day solutions. ENOC Group is set to hire 13 of the programme graduates.

Marita Mitschein, Senior Vice President Digital Skills, SAP Southern Europe, Africa and Middle East, and Managing Director of the SAP Training and Development Institute, said: Digital skills are vital for the regions organizations to proceed to lead innovation and Digital Transformation. Following the current graduation of our last Young Professional Programme in the UAE in December 2019, this next programme cohort will make contributions to the digital transformation of ENOC Group as well as further SAP clients and channel partners in the UAE and beyond.

Graduates of the upcoming cohort in the UAE will be skilled and certified on SAP Activate Project Manager and SAP Business Process Integration and will acquire soft skill and innovation trainings such as Communication Skills and Design Thinking.

H.E Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO of ENOC, said: At ENOC Group, we are constantly thinking about how we can bridge the skills gap by developing different and innovative working techniques and that is why we work with our partners to discover possibilities that will increase our national talents. We agree with that the Young Professional Programme will provide young talents the skills and training required to support our digital transformation efforts.

In 2019, ENOC Group rolled out NEXT; an accelerator programme designed to free up growth possibilities and tackle challenges in the energy sector. Through NEXT, the Group will be in a position to attain its vision by constructing new digital ventures, enabling a digital transformation via an organisation-wide SAP system implementation and digital upskilling of its workforce.

Zakaria Haltout, Managing Director, SAP UAE, said: With the UAEs oil and gas sector embracing Industry 4.0 innovations, ENOC Groups partnership on the Young Professional Programme indicates how public-private partnerships can enable Emirati talent to lead the workforce of the future and support UAE Vision 2021.

Worldwide, over 99 percentage of Young Professional Programme graduates have successfully discovered work placement within the SAP Ecosystem of SAP clients and partners.
