Emirates NBD signs agreement with Government of Dubais Community Development Authority

Emirates NBD, among the leading banks in the region, has signed a contract with the Community Development Authority (CDA) to strengthen its strategic, long-term dedication to individuals with disabilities in line with the Government of Dubai's 'My Community' vision to change Dubai into a disability-friendly city by 2020.

Through the partnership, the bank's #TogetherLimitless platform will seek to produce a financially inclusive community for individuals with disabilities in the UAE. As a primary step, Emirates NBD will be offering all Sanad card holders1 (privilege access card developed by CDA for people with disabilities) the 'Beyond from Personal Banking' bundle, exempt of minimum salary. Account holders can benefit from the preferential transaction rates, insurance coverage premium waivers and way of life rewards that are included in the package.

Commenting on the partnership, Husam Al Sayed, Group Chief Human Resource Officer at Emirates NBD stated: "As a homegrown organisation, Emirates NBD highly thinks that our action-oriented dedication to supporting individuals with disabilities is a responsibility and advantage, and we feel that synergising the resources and understanding of both the general public and economic sector will result in a sustainable long-lasting enhancement in the integration of individuals with disabilities into the neighborhood."

We are exceptionally proud to provide our high-value Beyond from Personal Banking proposition to all Sanad cardholders as an action to monetary addition for individuals with disabilities in the UAE. Going forward, we will remain committed to understanding the banking requirements of individuals with disabilities and seek to achieve their total financial addition in all our banking products and services."

The arrangement becomes part of a series of efforts introduced under that bank's #TogetherLimitless platform, launched in 2015, that intends to provide options to the concerns faced by people with disabilities. These consist of: Adaption of branches to be more easily accessible to individuals with disabilities; Workplace Inclusion-- an effort to identify talent, employ and train more people with disabilities; and a long-term partnership with Manzil's PRIDE (People Receiving Independence and Dignity through Empowerment). Additional details on these programs can be discovered on the platform's microsite, emiratesnbd.com/togetherlimitless.
