Egypt’s Smouha Club has won the Fatima Bint Mubarak Academy Volleyball Cup for Ladies 2026 after defeating the Fatima Bint Mubarak Academy Volleyball Team 3-0 in the final held at the Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy in Abu Dhabi.

The tournament was held under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, known as the “Mother of the Nation.” It was also held under the directives of Sheikha Fatima bint Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy, as well as Chairwoman of Abu Dhabi Ladies Club and Al Ain Ladies Club.

Smouha Club Takes First Place

H.E. Dr. Omniyat Al Hajri, Vice Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy, presented the awards to the top three teams.

Smouha Club of Egypt secured first place, while the Fatima Bint Mubarak Academy team representing the UAE finished as runners-up. Egypt’s 6th of October Club claimed third place.

The awards ceremony was attended by Abdulla Al Wheibi, Executive Director of the Sports Development Sector at Abu Dhabi Sports Council; Awad Al Mansoori, UAE Volleyball Association Board Member; and Khalid Al Suwaidi, Representative of the Presidential Court.

Six Teams From Five Countries Participate

The 2026 tournament brought together six teams representing five countries, providing a regional platform for women’s volleyball competition.
