Digital Dubai has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC) to jointly develop the innovative “AI-Powered Emirati Family” project. The initiative seeks to combine technological expertise with cultural storytelling to highlight Emirati identity, values, and the UAE’s milestones in the space sector.

Under the agreement, MBRSC will provide Digital Dubai with verified scientific data and content related to space exploration and Emirati astronauts. The centre will also extend technical support for creating AI-powered voice content, ensuring authenticity and scientific accuracy in the narratives produced.

The MoU was signed by Shaima Al Zarooni, Director of Marketing and Communication at Digital Dubai, and Abdullah Ahli, Head of Information Technology Department at MBRSC. The signing ceremony was attended by H.E. Salem Humaid Al Marri, Director General of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre, and H.E. Tariq Yousef Al Janahi, CEO of the Corporate Enablement Sector at Digital Dubai.

The collaboration marks a significant step in leveraging artificial intelligence to promote cultural innovation and national identity. As part of the initiative, both organizations will co-develop intelligent Emirati characters designed to embody the project’s vision and values. Additionally, a special episode will be produced to spotlight MBRSC’s achievements and the UAE’s growing contributions to the global space industry.

The “AI-Powered Emirati Family” project underscores Dubai’s commitment to advancing digital transformation through creative technologies while celebrating the nation’s progress in science, innovation, and space exploration.
