Dubai Civil Aviation Safety Center for training Dulsco Honours flight crew

Dulsco, a leading integrated solutions provider, honored a team of Dubai Civil Aviation Safety Center for enhancing its staff's awareness of aviation. Emirates, which has been operating in the UAE for 84 years, has been awarded certificates to officials who have given a number of training sessions earlier this year to intensify the understanding of Dulsco team members on security issues at Dubai International Airport.

The event will take place on Wednesday at the headquarters of Dulsco in Dubai, the award ceremony was attended by the Dulcos trainers from the Dubai Civil Aviation Defense Center, led by Colonel Marwan Mohammed Single, Major Jamal Ali Hassan, Director and General Coordinator of the Dubai Civil Aviation Defense Center, Planning Training Division. During the awards ceremony, the delegation met with senior Dulsco officials and members of the company's air defense team.

Dulscos award was cited thanks to their training at Dubai International Airport, which highlights security breaches for Dulsco employees working at the region's busiest airport. The activity was the result of a collaboration between the Air Defense Group of Dulsco and the Dubai Civil Aviation Safety Center to raise awareness of security issues at the airport.

National security is an important responsibility and it is the duty of every stakeholder to ensure a safe environment for the country's citizens, residents and visitors, especially at important travel destinations such as Dubai International Airport. Creating a safety awareness through these exercises for airport employees will help them stay alert and know who to approach for any security breach. It is a partnership and cooperation between authorities and private sector organizations that help DXB International to be the safest airport in the world, Major Jamal Ali Hassan said.

David Stockton, CEO and Managing Director of Dulsco told: Our staff at Dubai International Airport continues to conduct bespoke exercises as we adhere to the highest safety standards and encourage them to avoid any security breaches. This includes highlighting and addressing unforeseen vulnerabilities, such as improper use of security passes and discussing airport operations with third parties. These exercises are usually provided by our internal team, but on this occasion we contacted the Dubai Civil Aviation Safety Center and sought their support to conduct many sessions for our staff,

The sessions were well received, and increased security awareness and the consequences of engaging in any security breaches at the airport. In addition, the exercises have established a strong relationship between Dulsco and the Dubai Civil Aviation Defense Center, and we are actively seeking areas where we can work together on similar activities in the future. We are very grateful for the support of the Dubai Civil Aviation Safety Center for our aviation security initiatives aimed at improving the status of Dubai International Airport as the world's best airport, he added.
