DMCA collaborates with Dubai Customs fishermen harbours to launch Fishermen Safety Training Series

The Dubai Maritime City Authority (DMCA), the federal government authority charged with regulating, coordinating and monitoring all aspects of Dubai's maritime sector, in partnership with the fishermen harbours of Dubai Customs, has revealed the launch of a series of Fishermen Safety training sessions being performed as part of the Dubai Maritime Training Centre (DMTC)'s ongoing awareness project. The initiative is being carried out as part of the Centre's social obligation agenda and in fulfilment of its goal of more enhancing maritime security by expanding understanding and raising awareness across Dubai's diverse maritime segments.

Around 150 participants signed up with the first session performed in Dubai's Umm Suqeim Fishing Harbour # 1. Other sessions to be carried out within the year.
