Dhanwanthari Vaidyasala, the revered Ayurvedic institution founded in 1933, has officially opened its first international centre in Dubai, marking a historic milestone in the 93-year legacy of Dhanwanthari. Located on the second floor of the Al Ain Center in Bur Dubai, the state-of-the-art facility will serve as the flagship for the organisation’s ambitious global expansion plans.

At a press conference held to celebrate the launch, Dr. Satheesh Kumar Namboothiri, Managing Director of Dhanwanthari Vaidyasala, outlined the vision of taking authentic Ayurveda to the global stage.

“This launch is the first step toward realizing our vision of Dhanwanthari Global. By 2026, we plan to establish centres in Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, the Philippines, Germany, and Australia. The Dubai centre will set the standard for all future international projects, reflecting our commitment to quality, authenticity, and holistic wellness,” said Dr. Satheesh managing director Dhanwanthari Vaidyasala.

Highlighting the relevance of Ayurveda in modern healthcare, Dr. Satheesh added:“Diseases such as cancer and diabetes are among the world’s most feared health challenges. While their prevalence is increasing, Ayurveda provides a scientifically backed, natural approach to prevention and management. Our Protocol for Healthy Living focuses on lifestyle modification and preventive care without heavy reliance on medication. Through Dhanwanthari, these authentic therapies are now accessible to residents of the UAE.”

Dr. Sathya K. Pillai, Medical Director and Chief Physician at Dhanwanthari Ayuveda Dubai, shared details of the centre’s advanced offerings: “Our holistic approach focuses on reversing lifestyle diseases through personalised care. The Dubai centre is equipped with modern diagnostic tools for neuropathy, diabetes, and other chronic conditions. Specialized therapies, such as Tarpana for eye health, advanced skin and hair treatments, and Panchakarma therapies, will soon be offered to meet the diverse wellness needs of our clients.”

Murali Ekarool, Managing Director of Dhanwanthari UAE, elaborated on the brand’s regional growth strategy:

“We aim to expand Dhanwanthari across the Gulf through a combination of direct medical centres, franchise models, and referral kiosks. Our goal is to open 10 direct outlets in the UAE over the next three years, making authentic Ayurveda more accessible to residents and expatriates.”

Dr. Jaisam Abdulla, Manager and Physician, announced new customised wellness packages:

“Following our acquisition of the Ayur Sathya Clinic, Dhanwanthari will soon introduce Silver, Gold, and Diamond long-term wellness packages designed to provide continuous care and support for regular clients.”
