At the Edge Computing Congress held in London, Huawei's 5 G MEC solution won the Best Edge Computing Technology Award. This is the third year of honor for Huawei's ongoing development and accomplishments in MEC technologies.

By building on a combination of connectivity and computing capabilities, high performance heterogenous hardware and open MEC platform, Huawei 5 G MEC enables operators create their ultimate service experience and innovates the business model. This allows the MEC to cooperate with the whole network to allocate and modify network resources in a dynamic manner. This ensures that subscriber experience and site innovation are application-centric network-wide deterministic confirmation of subscriber experience and accomplishing site innovation followed by network-wide replication. The heterogeneous high-performance hardware utilizes Kunpeng chips developed by Huawei and switching-free architecture.

It incorporates GPU, NP and AI accelerators for high efficiency, high integration and low energy consumption. The open MEC platform integrates multi-industry apps with one-stop integration and code-free CT services. A box will replace an accelerated service deployment network.
