Bentley Systems announces winners of the 2025 Going Digital Awards

Bentley Systems, Incorporated (Nasdaq: BSY), the global infrastructure engineering software company, has announced the winners of the 2025 Going Digital Awards in Infrastructure, recognizing excellence and innovation in the use of digital technologies across the infrastructure lifecycle.

The annual awards celebrate professionals and organizations leveraging Bentley’s software to enhance design, construction, and operations of infrastructure worldwide. Nearly 250 projects from 47 countries were nominated this year, with winners chosen across 12 categories by an independent panel of judges during the Year in Infrastructure Conference 2025, held in Amsterdam on October 15–16.

Chris Bradshaw, Chief Sustainability and Education Officer at Bentley Systems, congratulated the winners, saying, “These projects demonstrate how engineers, builders, and operators are embracing connected data and AI to deliver resilient, sustainable, and high-performing infrastructure. Their efforts are setting new global benchmarks in digital transformation.”


Global winners across 12 categories

The 2025 winners represented a diverse range of industries and regions:

  • Bridges and Tunnels: Italferr S.p.A. (Italy) – Leveraging digital technologies for improved infrastructure management

  • Cities, Campuses, and Facilities: Voyants Solutions Private Ltd. (India) – Masterplan and project management of Atal Puram Township, Agra

  • Construction: Deloitte and Vale (Brazil) – SYNCHRO 4D powering the world’s first iron ore briquetting plant

  • Energy Production: Baosteel Engineering & Technology Group Co., Ltd. (China) – Digital intelligent construction for a steel plant

  • Geospatial and Reality Modeling: Al Madinah Region Development Authority (MDA) (Saudi Arabia) – Manarah Urban Data Platform

  • Project Delivery: Egis (France) – Canal Seine Nord Europe

  • Rail and Transit: PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) (Indonesia) – Smart Infrastructure by KAI & AssetWise Linear Analytics

  • Roads and Highways: Jabatan Kerja Raya Sarawak (JKRS) (Malaysia) – Sarawak Sabah Link Road Phase 2

  • Structural Engineering: AVS Engineers | ISID Architect | Nikhil Mahashur and Associates (India) – Fairmont Udaipur Palace

  • Subsurface Modeling and Analysis: Fervo Energy (United States) – Cape Station

  • Transmission and Distribution: China Energy Engineering Group Guangxi Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd. (China) – Digital intelligence lifecycle management for China Southern Power Grid’s Guangxi Nanning 500kV project

  • Water and Wastewater: PT Wika Tirta Jaya Jatiluhur (WTJJ) (Indonesia) – SPAM Regional Jatiluhur I: Transforming Water for a Better Tomorrow


Founders’ Honors highlight excellence in innovation

Bentley’s Founders’ Honors were awarded to 18 exemplary projects personally selected by the company’s founders for their outstanding contributions to advancing the world’s infrastructure.

Among the recipients were:

  • AECOM (UK) – Old Oak Common Great Western Railway Station Rail Systems

  • citiME Consultancy LLC (UAE) – Micromobility Modeling in Abu Dhabi’s Strategic Transport Model

  • NASA Lunar Mission Planning Team (The Moon) – RF Channel Modeler for Ground Subscribers

  • Arcadis (Australia) – Coffs Harbour Bypass

  • Aurecon (New Zealand) – Digitizing Urban Ground

  • DC Water (United States) – Digital Twin Implementation

  • PT Hutama Karya (Indonesia) – Trans Papua Road – Mamberamo-Elelim Section

  • Shanghai Investigation, Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd. (China) – Offshore Wind Power Lifecycle Digital Innovation


Focus on sustainability and education

The Bentley-Envision Award for Sustainable Infrastructure, developed with the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure (ISI), recognized projects that demonstrated measurable environmental and social benefits.

The 2025 award went to GeoStruXer (Saudi Arabia) for its Seismic Rehabilitation of Creeping Ground using Sustainable Micropiled PTRaft, highlighting sustainability-driven engineering excellence.

Additionally, Bentley named Irfaan Peerun of Griffith University, Australia, as the Educator of the Year, honoring his integration of digital engineering tools and technology into higher education.
