Baker & McKenzie Habib Al Mulla Appoints Chief Operating Officer

Leading UAE law firm Baker & McKenzie Habib Al Mulla has appointed David Denman as Chief Operating Officer for the UAE offices. In his new position, he will assume a leading role in the implementation of the strategy for the business.

David has over 20 years' experience in senior management and leadership roles and most recently joins from Simmons & Simmons Middle East LLP, where he was Chief Operating Officer for the firm in the region.

"David joins at a significant time as our transactional practices continue to grow, following the landmark merger and successful integration of Baker & McKenzie and Habib Al Mulla in the UAE last year," said Dr. Habib Al Mulla, Chairman of Baker & McKenzie Habib Al Mulla. "We are very pleased to have someone of David's caliber and experience to execute our strategic goals and lead our day-to-day operations as we seek to enhance our offering in ways that benefit our clients. We are delighted to welcome him on board."

Baker & McKenzie Habib Al Mulla also welcomed three new Corporate partners in the UAE this year - Will Seivewright from Latham & Watkins, Steven Henderson from Clifford Chance, and most recently, Jayshree Gupta from DLA Piper.
