Bahri Successfully Concludes First Edition of SAIFI Program

Bahri, a global leader in logistics and transportation, has efficiently finished the very first version of 'SAIFI', a summer training program for undergraduate students in the Kingdom, introduced jointly by the Ministry of Labor and Social Development (MOLSD) and the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF). Aimed at training and establishing functional skills among the country's young people, the four-week internship program ranged from 8 July until 2 August, with the participation of 15 male and female undergraduate students.

Allowing the participants the possibility to develop a much deeper understanding of the numerous aspects of the company's operations and the maritime industry in general, the first edition of the program saw the students get practical training while working within the company's various business and functional units, including Human Resources, Infotech,

Financing and Bookkeeping, Corporate Communications, Sales, Administrative Affairs, and Workflow. Commenting on the completion of the program's initial edition, Hisham Alkhaldi, Senior VP for Human Being Resources and Corporate Communications, said: "Bahri's Human Resources department has a long-term technique in position to sustain Saudization and improve the financial contribution of the nationwide workforce through training and internship programs with universities and institutes that raise the employability of local abilities.
