AutoPro supports safety belt campaign by Jumeirah Baccalaureate School; raises funds for ENOCs Human Fuel CSR initiative

Underlining its commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), AutoPro, a fully-owned subsidiary of Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) and full-service car repair provider, extended its support to a safety belt campaign organised by the Jumeirah Baccalaureate School, which in turn also raised funds for ENOCs Human Fuel campaign to feed the hungry world-wide.

Ahmed Al Hashimi, a student of the school, had approached AutoPro for sponsorship support. Evaluating the opportunity, AutoPro decided to sponsor a football match, while highlighting the importance of using safety belts to promote road safety. As part of the event, AutoPro covered the football field rentals, provided t-shirts for the six participating teams, and the trophies and medals for the top three winning teams.

Yousuf Harib, Manager of AutoPro, said: For us, the support to the event not only highlighted our CSR commitment but provided an opportunity to encourage our youth to step forward and drive events that make a difference to the community. We provided the platform for the students to work with our team in planning the event.

To our delight, Ahmed Al Hashimi and the team also decided to contribute the funds raised from the participating teams for ENOCs Human Fuel campaign. It clearly demonstrated the focus of our youth to partner in initiatives that make a difference.

Human Fuel is the flagship CSR campaign of ENOC to raise funds to support the efforts of the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) and Dubai Charity Association to address global hunger. AutoPro regularly implements campaigns to promote road safety as part of its CSR activities.

AutoPro provides professional, reliable and value for money preventive maintenance and repair programmes in a clean, modern, comfortable and easily accessible environment. Performing a majority of basic motor repairs, the services cover small to large cars and include preventive maintenance, brakes servicing, air-con repair, suspension and clutch replacement, electrical work and tyre sales.
