Auriga International Management Consultancy has announced the appointment of Andre Erasmus as Chief Operating Officer, in a move aimed at enhancing the firm’s operational and refurbishment advisory capabilities across hospitality and real estate assets in the region.

The consultancy said the appointment supports its ongoing strategy to help hotel owners and investors transform and reposition existing assets to improve long-term value and operational performance.

Erasmus brings more than 20 years of experience in hotel operations, with a background in launching, repositioning and optimising hospitality properties. In his new role, he will focus on strengthening operational frameworks, scaling service delivery and expanding the firm’s refurbishment and rebranding execution capabilities.

Commenting on his appointment, Erasmus said refurbishment and rebranding initiatives generate measurable returns only when aligned with operational realities. He added that his priority will be to enhance execution standards and help owners maximise asset performance across market cycles.

Auriga International Management Consultancy positions itself as an end-to-end advisory firm working across the full lifecycle of hospitality and real estate projects. Its scope includes feasibility studies, asset management, rebranding, refurbishment and operational optimisation, combining strategic planning with on-site execution support.

Priya Jaganathan, managing director and co-founder of the firm, said the appointment reflects both a long-standing professional collaboration and a strategic step for the company’s growth phase. She noted that Erasmus’s operational leadership will support delivery of refurbishment and repositioning projects that perform effectively after launch.

Erasmus has held senior operational roles across multiple international hospitality brands, contributing experience in aligning brand standards, design strategy and day-to-day operations. As COO, he will lead the expansion of the company’s operational advisory services across regional markets.

The firm works across multiple hospitality formats, including hotels, branded and independent food and beverage concepts, lifestyle venues, wellness and salon brands, and cloud kitchen operators. While it maintains a strong base in Abu Dhabi, its project footprint extends across Dubai, the wider GCC and parts of Africa.
