Ajman Free Zone announces official commitment to culture of innovation at Digitalized Workplace forum

Ajman, United Arab Emirates, 14 February 2019: Ajman Free Zone used its Innovation Forum, marking the UAEs National Innovation Month, to announce its participation in a global accreditation scheme aimed at strengthening the culture of innovation across all of the organisations operations.

The announcement was made at the Digitalized Workplace Forum, Marsa Ajman, by Ali Matar Al Hosani, Human Resources Director for Ajman Free Zone, following addresses by representatives of both local and international companies who place innovation at the centre of their organisations.

Starting from this month, Ajman Free Zone will work closely with The Global Innovation Academy (GIA) to ensure its personnel becomes certified innovation practitioners. The GIA is an international knowledge power-house committed to spreading innovation culture through research, design and development of world-class competency-based modular training and learning programs leading to the certification of practitioners, as well as the licensing of innovation trainers, assessors and consultants.
Ali Matar Al Hosani made the announcement before handing out accolades to the events stellar speakers who represented Microsoft, Salesforce, Take leap and Futurists Hub. Each speaker had presented a wealth of information on topics including Digital Workplace Scenarios and best practice, the application of virtual and augmented reality in business, and the definition of the fourth industrial revolution.

Fatima Al Hamrani, Team Leader, Innovation & Excellence of Ajman Free Zone comments: The event provided the ideal opportunity to announce our involvement in this forward-thinking initiative with the GIA. Its our intention that all of our personnel appreciate the crucial role that innovation plays across every single department, and that they learn how they can embrace it. Following a very informative and motivational session by our guest speakers, our HR Director was able to explain how Ajman Free Zone is fully committed to a culture of innovation and he highlighted how the accreditation would act as a credible endorser of that commitment. We are now looking forward to implementing the first stage of the programme and our dedicated teams are fully on board working towards this collective endeavour.
