ADPHC and Appolonia Group Partner to Promote Oral Health Awareness and Prevention in Abu Dhabi

The Abu Dhabi Public Health Center (ADPHC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Appolonia Dental Care Holding Group to strengthen cooperation in oral and dental health awareness across the emirate. The partnership aims to promote preventive care, public awareness, and research initiatives that support overall community well-being.

The MoU was signed by His Excellency Dr. Rashed Al Suwaidi, Director General of ADPHC, and Dr. Yaser Haj Hamed, Founder and Chairman of Appolonia Group, during a ceremony held in Abu Dhabi. The agreement underscores both entities’ shared commitment to advancing oral health as an essential component of public health and improving access to preventive dental care.

Under the partnership, ADPHC and Appolonia Group will collaborate on community awareness campaigns highlighting the link between oral health and overall well-being. The initiative will deliver preventive and educational programs for children and families, while also exploring new joint projects to foster healthier habits and disease prevention.

The collaboration will further focus on data-driven strategies, enabling better assessments of oral health trends, risk factors, and their relationship to wider public health challenges. These insights will help ADPHC refine its existing programs and policies, targeting specific groups and reducing oral health disparities across the emirate.

Dr. Yaser Haj Hamed, Founder and Chairman of Appolonia Group and Synergy Dental Centers, added:

It complements ADPHC’s ongoing initiatives such as early childhood caries prevention programs, the school oral health program, and oral health screenings under the comprehensive IFHAS periodic examination program.
