ADNOC Celebrates 46th National Day at its Corporate Headquarters
The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) noted the UAE's 46th National Day at its corporate headquarters today. The day-long celebration was attended by over 10,000 ADNOC workers, from throughout the organisation, and their family members.
The celebrations were preceded by the official launch of ADNOC's National Day video, which focuses on the value of UAE culture and the contribution of the oil and gas industry to the country. The video includes a tune made up by Mohammed Al Ahmed, and features the voice of popular Emirati vocalist Hussain Al Jasmi and Arabic lyrics by poet Ahmed bin Hayay.
The festivities consisted of a cooking hub where days, Arabic coffee and typical Emirati food and sweets were served. Henna art for ladies and children was supplied in the cultural hub, which likewise showcased Emirati dancings, falconry and day farming. A classic automobile, rate watercraft and Formula 1 area likewise formed part of the destinations.
It was the first time such a large number of ADNOC employees had actually gathered together because ADNOC's group of firms embraced a unified brand name identification at the end of October.
