Sandstorm Metal Festival 2026
Heavy music fans in the UAE can look forward to a high-energy night as the Sandstorm Metal Festival returns for its third edition on 7 February at P7 Arena, Media One Hotel. The festival will feature a mix of international and regional acts, led by Italian gothic metal band Lacuna Coil. Lacuna Coil will headline the event as part of their Sleepless Empire Tour, bringing their signature blend of dark melodies and powerful choruses to Dubai. The band is widely regarded as one of Europe’s most influential gothic metal acts, with a global fan base and multiple charting releases. The one-day festival will also showcase a diverse supporting lineup spanning several countries and styles within the metal genre. Confirmed acts include Numento from Finland and Borrowed Time from Lebanon, alongside UAE-based bands April, Baryo, and Metarust. The night will conclude with an after-party set by Dubai metal DJ DJ Kitty. Organisers say the festival continues to build momentum as a regional platform for heavy music, combining established international performers with emerging local talent.
