Google has marked the UAE’s 54th National Day with a special Doodle, offering users across the country a vibrant visual tribute to the nation’s unity and progress.

Throughout Tuesday, visitors to Google’s homepage in the UAE were greeted with an animated illustration of the country’s iconic four-coloured flag gracefully fluttering against a clear sky. The design reflects the spirit of Eid Al Etihad, celebrating more than five decades of development, ambition, and national pride.

As the UAE observes its National Day on December 2, the country stands as a testament to visionary leadership, rapid nation-building, and a steadfast commitment to innovation. From life sciences and real estate to advanced technology and entrepreneurship, the UAE continues to inspire individuals and industries to push boundaries and build a future defined by resilience and creativity.

One memorable design portrayed an Emirati boy and girl accompanied by a falcon and an Arabian oryx — the latter once extinct in the wild but successfully reintroduced to its natural habitat. Known for its ability to predict rainfall, the Arabian oryx remains an enduring symbol of the UAE’s commitment to conservation and natural heritage.

Camel and desert skyline

Another illustration featured a man in traditional Emirati attire walking a camel, one of the most recognisable icons of the desert. The silhouette of the UAE’s modern skyline in the background underscored the contrast between the nation’s rich past and its remarkable transformation into a global hub.
