The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced the introduction of a new app on cellular phones to assist in the job of parking inspectors, and ease the processing of parking permits in the Emirate of Dubai. The action is part of RTA's relentless efforts to equip inspectors of parking services with top-notch devices, and ensure the fast processing of parking permits.

"Following the introduction of the smart parking app, which guides inspectors to vehicles in breach of the rule governing public parking in Dubai, a new feature had actually been added to the app. This feature is to enable the fast processing of applications for issuing/renewing permits related to reserving parking slots, occupying pavements, investing private land plots as parking lot as well as private parking allows for people," stated Engineer Maitha Bin Adai, CEO of RTA Traffic & Roads Agency.

"The Agency had actually supplied hi-tech devices for checking parking permits and processing parking applications, offering, for example, enhanced and more accurate images of applications for parking services and related offences.
