ENOC’s EPPCO Lubricants introduces revolutionary RecondOil technology in the UAE

EPPCO Lubricants, a joint venture between ENOC and Chevron, has inked a landmark agreement with SKF, a global leader in bearing and seal manufacturing, to introduce cutting-edge SKF RecondOil technology to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

This groundbreaking filtration technology, based on a double separation system, aims to cleanse the oil in service by eliminating harmful nano-particles known to contribute to varnish and mechanical wear. By extending the lifespan of lubricants, this innovative technology aligns with the principles of circular economy, transforming industrial lubricants into reliable assets rather than mere consumables.

Recognized for its expertise in lubricant solutions, EPPCO Lubricants will serve as the exclusive distributor of SKF RecondOil filters across the UAE. Following two years of rigorous technical evaluation, both EPPCO and SKF have affirmed the unmatched value proposition of RecondOil, promising users enhanced system longevity and reduced carbon emissions.

The agreement was formalized by Rashid Al Ameeri, General Manager at EPPCO Lubricants, and Nihad Dzinalija, Regional Manager, Middle East, EMEA, at SKF Eurotrade, during a signing ceremony held in Dubai, attended by executives and employees from both entities.

His Excellency Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO of ENOC and Chairman of EPPCO Lubricants board, expressed confidence in the partnership, stating, "We invest in next-generation and clean technologies to enhance operational efficiency. Our collaboration with SKF will provide customers with access to revolutionary lubricant filtration technology, ensuring optimal performance and sustainability."

Sandro Chervatin, Director Sales Italy, Iberic, Turkey & ME, SKF, highlighted the environmental benefits of RecondOil, stating, "This proven innovative technology reduces environmental impact by reusing used oil. Through precise matching of oil with the filter and ongoing oil analysis, RecondOil ensures optimal filtration performance."

EPPCO Lubricants, a joint venture between ENOC and Chevron Al Khaleej, is responsible for distributing ENOC & Caltex branded lubricants and greases in the UAE, catering to various industries including automotive, industrial, manufacturing, and marine sectors.

SKF, founded in Gothenburg, Sweden, in 1907, is renowned for manufacturing and supplying bearings, seals, lubrication systems, and related products globally. With a workforce of 44,000 people across 108 manufacturing units, SKF boasts the largest industrial distributor network spanning 130 countries, making it one of the world's largest bearing manufactures.
