Our Ports and the UAE Buy of Port Assets

Our Ports and the UAE Buy of Port Assets
By Lance Winslow

It seems we have a fabricated dilemma brewing and a full misconception of how the protection in our ports in fact functions. It is a shame to see political leaders using such an issue to grandstand, as in such a way it shows a couple of points. Either they are truly ignorant to how our ports work and the circulations of items around the globe or they do know and are pandering for some fast Public Relations media brownie points with their fearing constituencies.

This is rather problematic undoubtedly as we need leadership that obtains the whole photo and are not so captured up in their very own rhetoric that they feel they should insight the public into more anxiety to get re-elected. We should not be so fast to condemn, as had not been it the Democrats that stated; we need to understand society and bring the world back with each other again?

For those who examine the flows of people and world trade they understand there is nothing wrong with the Dubai Acquire. Ports and Delivery are a global business. For those oblivious to the over all flows, they could be conveniently drawn right into the battle royal by media noise bytes and Democrat rhetoric and rule back tracking.

Our ports and worldwide trade throughout the world is an international business. We have possessions in ports abroad and they have properties here in the states. It is just the way it is. It has always been that way and it works; that is why the system is the means it is. If we go screwing around with the circulations of our world and trigger concern with the flows to and from other human beings; I personally guarantee that the USA of America will appear the most awful, as we have one of the most to shed. Consider this in 2006.
