American Hospital Dubai presents new advances in ENT surgery at Middle East Otolaryngology Conference and Exhibition

The American Hospital Dubai is getting involved at the 13th edition of the Annual Middle East Otolaryngology Conference and Exhibition (ME-OTO) to present the current patterns in otolaryngology or the surgical treatment of ear, nose and throat (ENT) diseases, which will run up until May 26, 2016 at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre.

ME-OTO is the biggest meeting of otolarygologists and doctor in the area specializing in ENT consisting of ear specialists, otorhinolarynlogists rhinoplasty cosmetic surgeons, neurotologists, pediatricians, speech and audio specialists, among others. The event will examine the most recent advancements in rhinology, head & neck, rhinoplasty, otology and audiology, with additional concentrate on a new track concerning Cochlear implants or the surgical implanting of electronic devices to replace the function of damaged parts in the ear.

Dr. Muazz Tarabichi, Chairman of the Middle East Academy of Otolaryngology and Chairman of the Otology Program at the American Hospital Dubai, will be leading the session as keynote speaker for the '1st World Congress on Cochlear Implants in Emerging Countries'.

He commented: "The medical technology produced by Cochlear implants is opening a profound opportunity for hearing-impaired adults and kids to improve their communication and explore their full potentials.
