Wacom to showcase new Bamboo Spark & Intuos product family at 2015 Gitex Technology Week

Wacom Co. Ltd., a global leader in interactive pen displays and digital drawing tablets, will introduce its award-winning Bamboo Spark device and a new range of the Intuos product family to the MEA region at the upcoming 35th Gitex Technology Week running from October 18 to 22, 2015. Wacom will showcase the latest products it successfully launched at IFA Berlin in Germany on stand B2-5 at the Dubai World Trade Center. Wacoms innovative Bamboo Spark, the new Intuos range and improved Bamboo styli reflect its steady commitment to develop devices that inspire people to explore and express new creative ideas.

Wacom will put particular focus on Bamboo Spark, which redefines note-taking in the 21st century by transforming ideas from paper to cloud to life. The cutting-edge smart folio Bamboo Spark enables individuals to save their handwritten notes in the Wacom Cloud for editing at a later time. The files can easily be accessed anywhere using any iOS or android device.

Wacom will also capitalize on Gitexs popularity to introduce its new range of Intuos pen and touch tablets to the region. The devices are available in four models: Intuos Art, Intuos Comic, Intuos Photo, and Intuos Draw (pen only). Each model includes free industry-leading creative software as well as additional training and service offers so that creative enthusiasts will have everything they need to get started. Intuos pen and touch tablets allow them to take their skills to the next level.

Additionally, the company will demonstrate the modern features of its improved range of Bamboo Styli including the Bamboo Fineline 2, Bamboo Solo, Bamboo Duo, Bamboo Alpha, and Bamboo Smart. Wacom will also show its flagship product, Cintiq 27 QHD graphic display, and Cintiq Companion 2, the mobile solution for creative professionals.

Alexander Maliyenko, Director Sales for ME, Wacom, said: Our participation at Gitex 2015 will give us the opportunity to demonstrate our latest innovative products in the MEA region and a venue to answer all queries from the major events participants. With Bamboo Spark Wacom has taken another important step to make digital stationary a reality. It is based on Wacom Ink Layer Language (WILL), which allows for notes to stay editable across various platforms and complements the features of our innovative Bamboo products. Our smart styli have been integrated with either Bluetooth or electromagnetic resonance (EMR) and active electrostatic (AES) technologies to support pressure-sensitive writing and sketching. The digital notes can then be synchronized with the Wacom Cloud, ensuring that their creative thoughts and ideas are secured, refined and easily shared with others.

Wacoms pen devices have been used to create some of the most exciting digital art, films, special effects, fashion and designs around the world. Through its products, Wacom provides business and home users with leading interface technology to express their personality. Its vision to bring people and technology closer together through natural interface technologies has made it the worlds leading manufacturer of interactive pen tablets and displays as well as of digital styli and solutions for saving and processing digital signatures.
