UD Alumni Celebrate their new campus
University of Dubai Alumni gathered at the brand-new campus in Academic City to celebrate their long waiting for dream of having their own school. Dr. Eesa Batsaki, UD president, attended the event and joined the celebration with UD provost, Deans and number of staff and faculty members. Bastaki said that the long awaiting dream of having our own campus came true with the help of many caring people including Alumni. He included that Alumni were first to press for the conclusion of the school due to the fact that they care about existing students and their future.
Ms. Amina El Marzak, Director of Students and Alumni Affairs invited the Alumni and thanked them for their ongoing support to the University and its students. She prompted them to remain connected with their alma matter and advance its objective. She said that Alumni commemorates their brand-new school not as a luxurious location but as their second home and as a sign of identity and pride.
Mr. Ahmad Falasi, Vice President of UD Alumni Association spoke on behalf of the Association Board and stated that the brand-new school will quickly open many opportunities for reliable cooperation in between Alumni, students, professor and leading management. He included that Alumni will continue their support to advance curricula at UD. He praised the hard work of UD President and Alumni Relations office saying that with "your aid our dream became a reality." Dr. Bastaki directed the Alumni into a school tour to see facilities, classrooms and students laboratories.
The University of Dubai Alumni Association (UDAA) is the main group for graduates of the University of Dubai (UD). The UDAA is open to all graduates of the University, regardless of College, major or graduation year. Subscription is totally free; you only have to register with us and keep your individual info upgraded in order to be welcomed to occasions and functions.
The activities and programs of the UDAA are managed and supported by its Board of Directors, headed by Sheikh Mohammed Maktoum Juma Al Maktoum. The Board is made up of 16 members and added voluntary members who volunteer their time, effort and resources to serve the UD alumni neighborhood.
