We are happy to announce that the Triangular Cricket Series for the Blind will be held in Sharjah from 13th to 19th March 2022 at Skyline University College Campus Sharjah, UAE in which India, Pakistan & Bangladesh will take part with the support of Friends and Well Wishers of Cricket for the Blind of UAE region
for the first time.

CABI has set the local organizing committee and given the complete hosting rights to the well wishers and friends of Cricket for the Blind who are residing in UAE to conduct the event in a smooth and successful manner.

Happy to introduce Mr. EK.Radhakrishnan the Chairman of the organizing Committee, Mr.A K Faisal the co chairman & Mr. U Nagaraja Rao the General Secretary of the organizing Committee who are having the major role to initiate in hosting this event.

The major concept & the purpose to organize this event in the UAE region to promote and develop the game of Cricket for the Blind across UAE which will create huge awareness and help to form the UAE Blind Cricket team in the future Tournaments under World Blind Cricket Ltd. (WBC).

CABI thank Mr. Radhakrishnan & Mr. Nagaraja for taking the big responsibility to host this event along with their friends for a noble cause.

Mr. Rajanish Henry Senior Vice President CABI & 2nd Vice President WBC along with the friends of UAE has extended all possible support in future to promote the game of Cricket for the Blind in the UAE region with the technical and Training support to the UAE team.

India will take on the arch rivals Pakistan in the opening match on 13th March.

Triangular Cricket Series will have a total of 6 League Matches and the Final which will be played on March 19th, 2022.

All the teams have confirmed their participation and will arrive Dubai on 12th of March.

Happy to inform that India is the only country which has won all the formats of International championships like T20 World Cup, ODI World Cup & the Asia Cup, in all the finals India beat Pakistan.

Dr. Mahantesh GK, President CABI thanked the friends from UAE for taking the initiative in promoting Cricket for the Blind and helping cricketers to exhibit their talents which will help the players to shine at the higher level.

About CABI, Cricket Association for the Blind in India (CABI) is the Apex Body Governing, Organizing and Developing Cricket for the Blind in India and has 24 State Associations and over 25,000 Players play & follow Cricket at various domestic level tournaments in India. CABI is affiliated to World Blind Cricket Ltd. (WBC) and is the Cricketing Arm and Initiative of Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled.

CABI organizes tournaments at District, State, Zonal and National levels. It helps the local bodies to organize local level tournaments to spot talent and a reminder that the real disability is only in the mind and nothing is impossible.

Cricket played a vital role for the Empowerment of Visually Impaired and it is the Inspiration for the younger generation & the entire society.

We seek further unfaltering support from one and all to come forward in Kind or Sposorship to take this game to the biggest level to keep the game on the go!

Media has already played a major role to create awareness of the game of Blind Cricket in the past and request to come forward to get more publicity in both Print & Electronic Media which will help the people to know more about Cricket for the Blind.
