The Dubai Government Workshop (DGW) honored its excellent workers in a ceremony held currently under the theme Towards the next 50 years. The Workshop every year holds the event to recognize its amazing group of workers who have constantly proven exemplary work performance and radically contributed to the organizations overall operational efficiency, in line with the UAEs initiative to bring happiness to the people and promote the welfare of local society. The celebration this year highlighted the employees pivotal position in DGWs readiness towards the next 50 years as it bids to proceed to exceed the expectations of its customers.

In his speech, H.E. Fahad Ahmed Al-Raeesi, CEO of DGW, stated that celebrating the accomplishments, successes, and professionalism of all the workers has become an annual tradition in the organization. H.E. also mentioned that DGWs achievements are the outcomes of its employees hard work and contributions as well as its clear approach inspired by the Dubai Governments aspiration to offer world-class and modern client services.

We will proceed to honor our excellent workforce and recognize their achievements and contributions. This displays how much DGW cherishes all its employees, who are an essential phase of the organization, and how it constantly appears after their welfare and prosperity. Besides celebrating their successes, the Workshop additionally stays dedicated to fostering camaraderie and unity within our groups and constructing a glad and wonderful work surroundings where they can thrive and be more creative, H.E Al-Raeesi said.

He added: Further, our celebration this year showcased DGWs improvement and modernization plans as we continue in our journey that began 50 years ago. In the next 50 years, we will lay down better foundation and construct more strong cooperation in response to the statement of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, that has made 2020 the year of preparation for the coming five decades. The UAE, which will be celebrating its Golden Jubilee by then, is now a nation of innovation, tolerance, and creativity -- an embodiment of the aspirations of our founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

DGW honored 82 excellent and innovative employees along with a number of groups and departments. Loyalty awards have been granted to employees with 25 years of service, while unique recognitions have been bestowed on anonymous heroes for their remarkable achievements and those who currently acquired their degrees and certificates.
