Team Abu Dhabi can become even stronger in F2, Said Al Qemzi

Rashed Al Qemzi, who is in the lead of the UIM F2 World Championship 2019, thinks team Abu Dhabi can be even stronger in next year's series.

In three years ' time at Sunday's Grand Prix of Portugal, the Emirati driver will be able to select his second F2 world cup with expected teammate Rashed Al Tayer as a powerful championship contendant.

Rashed is sure that he can start getting on the podium before the end of this season and all the team members are behind him, said Al Qemzi.

"He demonstrates how competitive he can be by winning the Speed Run in Norway and we expect that he's quicker and make us stronger as a team next season."

Al Qemzi takes a 30-point lead over Sharjah's Dutch driver Ferdinand Zandbergen in Sundays Grand Prix of Portugal as thousands of viewers sit on the banks of the Albufeira da Pala reservoir at Ribadouro on a ring.

Portugal's Duarte Benavente, presently third in the world title race and one of five riders still with a mathmatical opportunity to capture Al Qemzi, are anticipated to be among the greatest challenger this weekend.

Al Qemzi is in a relaxed mood during his final round on the home waters of Abu Dhabi 5-7.
