SocioLadder Launch Crowdfunding Platform in Partnership With Dubai Cares

SocioLadder, head of technical and advisory services in the humanitarian, charitable and social development sector, has signed a meeting with Dubai Cares, a UAE-based global philanthropic organization to launch a crowd funding platform to help the community raise funds electronically to support Dubai Cares' education programs in developing countries. The SocioLadder Foundation and the CSR platform are powered by IBM technology.

The deal was signed by Dubai Cares CEO, H.E Dr. Tariq Al Gurg and Shravan Charya, Founder & CEO, SocioLadder, in the presence of Manager Ms. Bitty Lamba at SocioLadder, as well as, well-supported investors and board advisors of SocioLadder- Mohammed Al Koas Al Falasi, Issa Al Rawahy, Omar Al Busaidy and Samah Al Rawahy.

Commenting on the new agreement, H.E. Dr. Al Gurg said: We are excited to join forces with Socio Ladder and be a partner of their choice as they begin to operate in the Middle East. This partnership will certainly enhance our fundraising efforts with the best technology solutions. This new platform will also change the relationship between donors and charities, and encourage members of the UAE community to support our educational programs worldwide.

Director of Charitable Institutions Department, Islamic Affairs & Charitable Activities Department (IACAD), Mr. Mohammed Musabeh Ali Dahi Reaffirmed their organizations commitment to maintaining transparency by regulating and monitoring all charitable activities for the common good of the people involved in this field by saying that, The crowdfunding platform is an opportunity for all private and non-profit organizations to be a part of the CSR and contribute, such a trusted platform records the efforts of organizations to contribute to the society. As usual, IACAD always supports such creative channels that provide humanitarian opportunities and manage them at the same time. SocioLader provides an effective "Trace and Track" mechanism that is important to us as regulators and uses the Smart Dubai Payment Gateway.

Mr. Shravan Charya added: Launching our crowdfunding platform for the United Arab Emirates and signing a memorandum of understanding with Dubai Cares strengthens SocioLadders regional aspiration of the Middle East to change the way charities and CSR departments work for both fundraising and impact reporting combined with UN STGs. We thank Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department (IACAD) for their support and guidance in embracing the latest technology for charity in Dubai.
